help find serial number

[evinrude bayliner]

Hello. i just bought a 86 bayliner. It has a 85 hp. evinrude outboard motor. It has dual cars and 4 spark plugs. The serial number plate is not on the motor. How to I tell what year the motor is and how can I get parts for it? The motor runs strong. I want to do a tune up to it and would like some tips.

There should be a small silver disk ( looks like an aluminium freeze plug ) on the block, about the size of a 25 cent coin .
It should have both the model number and serial number on it.

this is a 90hp it's on top of the block between the cylinder heads
