I have a 2004 Lund Alaskan 1650 that is rated for a 50 HP. in 2005 Lund Alaskan 1650's, with the exact same specs are rated for 60 hp. How can I get an updated HP rating plate? My boat is waaay underpwered. I tried many props but just kind find one to plane out very quickly. I need some help.

Don't think you can get a new data plate for it. Mine is faded to the point that I can't read it. Called lund and they gave me the info, Max hp , weight, ext but they said that they can't replace the plate. Are you sure another 10hp will help you?

Maybe i just can't find the right prop. once the boat is planed out it goes plenty fast, but whether i'm alone or a full load, it takes for ever to get on plane. Any thoughts? 4 blade prop maybe?
