Re: help identify boat

Go to fiberglassics.com. At the top of the page, take Boat Info, then Literature. You will find many makes listed, most have photos. Just start browsing until you find a match to your grandfathers boat.

Re: help identify boat

ok well i looked at fiberclass classics and its not there and man does the boat look like a larson but guess its not anyways im thinking about getting it up and running well heres my plan ok so far my boat has like stain at the bottom probably being the water and its rouch down there and there r little cracks aourns the boat doesnt look deadly but there r there im thinking baotu painting it white at the bottom which will be hard to do since u ahve to flip it and inside there like nothing except a bench for a seat and transom which needs to be replaced and on top of it there a mteal bar and like fiberclass stufff guess to hold the wires there and in front theres a pole dont knwo if it was or my grandfather put it there but he has another pole thats goes in thats in whcih goes acrosss boat i guesss to support cover and on the transom ants decided to make there home there probably cause most fo its time of sitting there it was rotting liek at a 70 degres angle with motors lower unit in the ground or i think it might have beeen on a cemnt block or somehting but anyways the engine look fine its prettty clean except the fact that the bolt r rusted on the bottom and the fton of the boat has a little square pocket idk it is fill with foam or air but the pole goes through it i want to get a new transom sand down rough spots and paint paint top green or white repair windsheild put stringers down foam inbetween plywood on top and carpet plus a bigle pump int he back little box type area for it and i wanna get two swivel seats in front and and a removable bench in back with battery and two gas tanks maybe a stereo and probably a bimi top i think i ahve the bars or somrhting the garage or dock but any estimates of how much this much will cost i mean would i be better off saving the motor and trashing the boat get motor workign and putting it on ponttooon but pontoon need work too just i think not as much but still any thoughts

Re: help identify boat

it is a critchfield like i said, if you have a digital camera, some pictures would help.

you can up load to a free service like photobucket.com then you choose the pictures you want( clik the little box at the bottom left of the picture) scrool to the bottom of the page, clik generate html, it will take you to the next page, scroll down to thumb nails clik on that and copy, then insert it into your post.

also if you are planing on posting pictures, you can use the Blue post reply or the go advanced, manage attachments, there you can upload , directly from your computer. besure you pictures have been resized to fit the format. 640x480 max.
