Help identify old motor

I was given an old outboard motor and I have no idea how old it is or much else. Here is what I know: Eclipse outboard motor by Bendix Marine in South Bend Indiana, Model SM, Serial # B6056. Does anyone know anything about this or where I may go to find out more? Thanks
