Can anyone help me identify this boat. My father in law sent me some pics he got from a friend out of state. I can get the whole setup for free. Its a Glastron but I am having a hard time finding something similar online. The seats throw me off (maybe someone added them). Also the shape of the side glass and the small v shaped center windshield throws me off too from finding something similar online. I am guessing late 70's early 80's? He is pretty sure its a 16ft boat. 7390.jpeg 7391.jpeg 7387.jpeg 7389.jpeg

Welcome aboard.

That tag on the stern might have an ID number on it which would help you figure out the year. Seats are not original, and looks like the bowlder has been monkeyed with to add a casting seat base. Jackplate on the transom has me wondering a little bit about what's going on with it ...

Tread lightly ... she looks like she's had a rough life.

I know they did say they are having a hard time getting the motor to lift up. I am wondering if that CMC power lift jack plate was an add on so they didnt have to manually lift the motor because the vintage of the boat?? It almost looks like it might have not been a bow rider and someone cut into it and made it? Looks like an awful tight opening to walk up into the bow..Also that Mercury doesnt look like its any newer than early 80's. Thanks for all your responses.

Now that you say that, and I go back and look, you may be right. Might also explain why the stern is all goofed up to need a jackplate. Glastron made 'em both bow rider and closed bow, so I didn't give it another thought ... but you may have nailed it there.

Not a concern if it runs ... or you can rehab it cheap. I had never owned anything newer than the 70s until just recently :) If it's totally trashed, then I would replace it.
