Back in a new year with a whole new set of questions!!
Last year I had bought a vintage 1958 boat with 1958 Johnson 35 which I have passed on to a nearby family who I am sure is going to enjoy the heck out of it.
I on the other hand have moved up to a 1980 Wellcraft V20 with a Johnson V4 I'm tryiing to positively identify. It was a replacement motor the PO bought from a local shop used and had mounted on the boat. The mount has been painted, so I can't get the model number off the tag, but got the serial number off of the silver disk on back of the head.
Serial Number is G4511608, and flywheel has 3-17-1998 printed on it along with a couple stickers also referencing 1998. I belive it's a 130 HP, but would really appreciate any help in figuring this one out. I plan to take some paint thinner to the tag to get the paint off, but in the interim...
