Help identifying?

Can anyone tell me about this outboard motor I just picked up. It is a 5 hp Montgomery Ward made by Clinton marine. The model number is K500 2106 A, the serial number is 712625 and the Type number is 60. 27405 R. Just trying to find out as much about this motor as I can. What year is it? What is the oil/fuel ratio? etc.

I think that would be a 1975....

If you look at the chart you will see the list of Clinton motors from 71' through 80'.

In 74' the serial range for K500's began at 84,000.
By 76' the serial range for K500's started at 1,220,000

Since your serial number is in the 700,000 range I am making an educated guess that it was a 75'
