Help, maybe? prop question

Ok got a 86 four winns horizon 190, 19 footer, merc 140 in it.

I have no idea what the prop is on it, it was bought new by the po.

I am only getting around 3500 rpm at 20 mph at wot.

I plan to wake board, ski and tube off this thing. What pitch should I have on here? I am ready to just go buy a new prop and see if that helps?

We need to know your prop size.Usually on the barrel or under the prop nut.
It appears you have some serious issues. Typical setup runs over 40 at about 4,800.
These major issues could have simple solutions.A plug wire off, Throttle plates not opening all the way. Is the bottom clean and smooth?Is the timing set right and advancing correctly?Is the speed by gps?
