40hp 4cyl merc would not start. Found that the voltage regulator as burnt up. Replaced it and she ran, shut it down then would not start again, no spark. Whats up here? Can someone tell me if you put an ohm meter on the black wire of the regulator and the other lead to each other wire which ones will have continuity? Hope the regulator did not fry again. Also can some one check the other box above the relays with the blue, purple and brown wires (power pack?) the same way to see which ones have continuity?
