Help me find the missing piece.....

Hello all, I am restoring a 68 Trident as seen here - http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=479401

I am calling out to all fellow starcrafters to help me find the one missing piece (attached)

Pic is of the port side transom cap, need the starboard side. I have been searching high and low and fear I will never find this part. If anyone can help please chime in!!!

That part looks to me like a flat piece of run of the mill aluminum - if so a fabricator or machinist could whip a pair of them off in a jiff that look just like stock OEM, using the old one as a template and you would end up with two spanking brand new ones cheaper and easier than beating the bushes high and low for a beaten up one

Problem is its not flat, its actually about 1 1/2" tall. I live in the sticks, so finding a guy around here that could whip one up may be just as challenging. Good thought though... I found a boat on CL the guy wants 400 for, that would make three boats (actually four with my little sailing dinghy) wife would not be happy. I offered the guy $50 for that one piece, have yet to hear back. Hell he could sell me the piece and still make $400 for that boat!!
