Help me ID this engine please.

Just picked up a small aluminum fishing boat for $100. Came with a 1975 Clinton Sea King and this Orange engine. I'd like to ID this engine. I couldn't find any ID plate. Thanks.

The fuel tank looks different than i thought a seabee to have? But the advance and flywheel look right for a bee

The gas cap is OMC vintage. So, it probably is one of their private labeled versions.

The ID plates are riveted on and never really fall off. Its absence would indicate the motor was stolen at one time. It should have a freeze plug on the block. Post that number and we can probably pin it down.

its a 1946 Scott-Atwater 3.6 HP model 462.
