I just winterized my 1992 Sea Ray 18' open bow with a 4.3L merc and an Alpha I stern drive. Took off the foot to inspect the oil, water pump impeller, and found some things I need to replace.
The main thing that I can't seem to locate is a little seal for the shifter shaft, and I also need the little plastic spacer that is located directly above it. The seal was almost destroyed completely, but it apparently held water out of the drive because the oil looked pretty good. I also need the gaskets for the water pump, as they disintegrated upon inspection. The impeller looked fine. I'm going to reuse it as there isn't any cracking or dry rotting as well.
Any sources for complete seal kits, or just the one that I've mentioned would be appreciated.
Also, do I need to worry about the drive seal? It looks pretty good, and I'm pretty tempted not to remove it at all even for further inspection.
thanks.
Also, the little plastic connector for lube flow is broken on the boat end. What should I do about this?--edit, I've just learned that this is the speedometer pick up tube.

The plastic spacer I was talking about is pictured on the shaft, and the seal on the table. The spacer is split in half.
I've found this nice exploded view:

it says generation II, do I need to look for something that says gen I?
