help me name my boat

Got a 1974 14 ft jon boat with a 9.9 gamefisher. It's pretty beat looking with lots of character dents and spray bomb green paint. floats well, but not much to look at. Been thinking of a name since it is my first boat. What should I name her? <br /><br />So far I'm thinking:<br />"MEGAbite" (I'm a computer tech) or <br />"Little Green Shrimp" (my favorite plate at the local fishcamp in Ft. Lawn)<br /><br />Maybe "Turn Me Over" written upside down- stole that from a thread in the other forum.<br /><br />Ideas?

I always thought that "Cloud Nine" would be a nice name for a boat.<br /><br />On the other hand, a Jon might go over with "Tintanic".<br /><br />Good luck.

I work in IT field also and named our boat "Hot Byte" because it is bright red. Also an IT guy around here named "Shark Byte".<br /><br />How about "Fish Byte"?

Keep 'em coming. "Rock Knocker" is good. A few weeks ago I about knocked my wife out of the boat when I pegged a rock when I was rowing around in some shallow water. She isn't too enthused about going back out with me again. I like "Tintanic" and "Turn Me Over" as well, but gives some scary images of sinking boats and losing my $600 investment. If my canoe had a square stern, "Turn Me Over" me over would be perfect (wife wasn't with me that time), but it has no motor, so i feel it isn't worthy of a name. Same for my yak.<br /><br />Bowfin

Im glad you like Rock Knocker !! LOL!!<br /><br />I used to have a boat called the Dock Knocker so Rock Knocker came easy.<br /><br />My daughter has a pontoon she named the Memory Maker. My Next boat I got (1765 Carolina Skiff) just had to, and is named "Caint Remember".<br /><br />(Look at my forum name and youll see why I named the Skiff that.)<br /><br />Good luck and enjoy that little rascal jon boat!
