Ok last season I noticed an exsesive amount of steam while flushing motor. I started to figure out why and it turned out to be my risers were rotted and water was flowing down the exhast manifold on the inside. So I replaced both and the problem was resolved. Now next season comes round and I decide to start it up in the driveway. The problem has returned only this time nothing seems to be effected. No water in the oil, or cylinders. Just a large amount of steam any thoughts or ideas?

BTW I have a Mercruiser 260 in a 19ft Thompson bowrider

Thanks!

Did you winterize your boat last year? Did you get ALL of the water out of the manifolds?

Ayuh,.... If the only symptom is Steam,..... I doubt you have a Problem...

Steam is a product of local Weather conditions as much as anything....
