i have a 1981 johnson 9.9 i thought the leg was bad wasn't shifting properly seemed to stay in gear or like half in gear so removed it and with the lw off the motor shifts right so i got another leg attached it bolted it down tight and its acting just like the other leg did when i try to pull start prop moves and feel resistance like its in gear a little so both legs same thing so what could it be ? iv checked out the LW's they are both fine so i don't get it help
