Help needed - cuddy cabin door lock / latch?

I have a 1996 Regal 22' cuddy cabin. When we got it the lock for the cuddy was missing, and now I'm looking to replace it. I searched the internet for about an hour but can't find what I need. Before I make something custom I figured I'd try here.

The door has three moving parts. The lower two accordian and swing out while the top piece comes down over it. The lock holds the top down, which prevents the other part to open. Where the lock should go there is a rectangular cut out 3.25" wide by 2" tall with knotch outs on the corners.

Here are some photos:

Anyone have any idea what I need or some advice on pointing me in the right direction?

THANKS!

Don't have a clue, but the photo's are awesome in detail. Probably the best I have ever seen on this forum.

Surely someone with the same boat or lock can help.

Luck in your search ya'll

I am fairly positive that it is a mobella brand latch. The part that is on the top of the photo looks just like the part that goes to the mobella locks on our deckboat doghouses. I only had one key and could not one made locally, I searched and searched and found these guys.

If you look under latches and then scroll down to mobella you will see the part that is still there and the corresponding parts that are missing.
BTW, I would recommend getting a "day key" and a couple of spares. These keys are NOT reproducible at most locksmiths.
Good luck, Dave

Thanks on the photo comment. I do photography as a hobby, and my job quite often involves taking or looking at photos of problems. So i get a lot of practice.

That looks like a good lead! I'll send them an email and see if they have it. Thanks!

if that's not it, take a look at perko. they make all sorts of hardware for boats.

Got the lock, fits perfect. Thanks again!

I love iboats.com, and the guy at fpmarine was great.
