Help needed on switch continuity

Should the kill switch. Neutral switch . Oil solenoid and low oil reset circuits all be closed circuit for engine too have a spark and I should have continuity in both wires of each switch ??! Thanks

Have no idea what kind of motor you are speaking about, or what an oil solenoid is, and am not sure how you are trying to check continuity since you say on both wires on a switch.

But the kill switches On outboards I delt with, when the switch closed it grounded the voltage from the cdi to stop the plugs from getting spark

It's a1998 dt 200 and I have no spark too any cylinders it turns over fine I have eclectic fuel pump working correctly. And power trim is working fine I'm looking for causes of interrupting the spark I have ordered a manual but am trying too familiarise myself with potential causes that will stop engine sparking any help would be much appreciated
