Hi everyone. I just purchased a new 60 hp efi outboard to power my pontoon boat. It is replacing a 40 hp mariner. I have everything hooked up other than the power tilt/trim, tach, and heat guage because i need to run wires from the engine to the console. I used an 8-14 pin adapter to go from my older quick silver controls to the new engine. Now the problem...
Once i turn the key on, the alarm constantly sounds. There is a relay at the back of the engine that is constantly clicking. I try to start it and it will turn over but will not start. I have bled the fuel system as well.
