Help! No Tilt/Trim

just put the boat in the water and nothing happens when I push the trim switch. Checked the 50a fuses and they are both fine. Any ideas?

As noted by others in one of your older threads, check and clean-up all electrical connections. I'm doing some of that, again, now. I'm getting even better at using a multimeter to diagnose electrical problems. Often, poor connections, especially grounds, are the culprit.

For the uninitiated ... knowing what you're working (engine, model, HP, year, etc) will help.

Easiest way to test is to find the connector to the trim pump behind the engine , it will be a 3 wire connector 2 wires are up and down and the other is a ground, get a test light and test for power while pushing the trim button......most likely your trim pump motor is bad

Thanks for the help. It turns out that the cable running from the engine was disconnected some how.
