HELP Old PolarKraft what model/specs????

Is there anyone out there that knows what the 5 digit HID (23872) on my PolarKraft means???Title says 1971,it is a 16' Jon Boat,think its called a Flat Open because it has only one seat and a front deck that extends back to the first rib/beam.
PolarKraft does not have any info on boats this old,USCG has nothing because its not a 12 digit HID, any help would be greatly appriciated,mybe even if some one knows what magazines where out back then that may have reviewed or advertised these types of boats,Thanks

What more do you want to know, you have who made it and the year what else is there.

It has survived 40 years so obviously it is a good boat, being a plain jon boat I doubt they advertised it and they wouldn't have tested either so I really don't think you are going to uncover much more than you already know.
