Help on Gluvit or Flex set

Marine Tex offers a higher density epoxy called Flex Set. They say it is non-sagging. Is this an appropriate product for vertical seams and rivets on an aluminum boat? I will be re-bucking the rivets and following up with Gluvit on the bottom areas of my boat. I am wondering about the application of Gluvit on mostly vertical seams.

Thanks for you opinions.

Re: Help on Gluvit or Flex set

I gotta be honest, even though it is our defacto recommendation, I wasn't real impressed with Gluvit. In my bilge there are some spots were it is noticeably peeling. Now that does not necessarily mean it's not still doing a good job of sealing areas that it flowed into (which is more what it's meant for anyway) but I definitely do wonder what some of the guys who had a bunch leftover an ended up coating darn near the whole inside of their boat are going to be looking at in a couple years. Anyway, I don't know a thing about that Flex set. I guess the main question would be how well it adheres to aluminum. Look into Coat-It. That's the other Gluvit-type product and I think that's the one I'd use if I was doing another boat. It's cheaper too.
