I have purchased a Moomba boat that came with a trailer and I have imported it into Canada. To license the trailer in Canada, I need a compliance sticker or letter of compliance from the trailer manufacturer. The VIN tracks back to "LadyBea Trailers" but I cannot find any info on them. Does anyone have any experience with this company? Did they get bought by someone? Does anyone have a trailer from them that you can take a photo of the compliance sticker?
If I cannot find anything, my government (always there to work for you) says "take it back, export it, get it out of here"...
The trailer is in great shape...but without a compliance letter, they feel it is not road worthy. Ironically, if a trailer is 15 years or older, it needs nothing to bring it into Canada! Sooo, a newer trailer/vehicle needs a compliance letter but an old piece of c*@$ needs nothing.....
