Help please "LadyBea" trailer...?

I have purchased a Moomba boat that came with a trailer and I have imported it into Canada. To license the trailer in Canada, I need a compliance sticker or letter of compliance from the trailer manufacturer. The VIN tracks back to "LadyBea Trailers" but I cannot find any info on them. Does anyone have any experience with this company? Did they get bought by someone? Does anyone have a trailer from them that you can take a photo of the compliance sticker?

If I cannot find anything, my government (always there to work for you) says "take it back, export it, get it out of here"...

The trailer is in great shape...but without a compliance letter, they feel it is not road worthy. Ironically, if a trailer is 15 years or older, it needs nothing to bring it into Canada! Sooo, a newer trailer/vehicle needs a compliance letter but an old piece of c*@$ needs nothing.....

I wish....not acceptable....and the trailer VIN number says it is a 2001....Something is amiss here and I cannot figure it out. Now I am thinking of taking the boat off, exporting it as per their wishes, then turn around and bring it back in as scrap, if the border would let me get a way with it. I can bring scrap into Canada.

Funny thing is that I can go out back, weld up some scrap metal, and go get a license for it, telling them it is homebuilt. No safety necessary. Not kidding...it is that stupid! but a manufactured trailer with no piece of paper and no way!

Urrrrr......

Ayuh,.... I just went, 'n looked at the Ladybea wagon in our fleet,...

I'd sooner guess is a 1977,...

btw, how are ya comin' up with 2001,..??

Trailers are Not like boats, 'n the last 2 digits aren't necessarily the vintage,...

The department that takes in the form knows this from the VIN, so they told me! Gotta wonder why I need to fill the form out if they know all this from the VIN?

My forehead will be flat soon, from hitting the wall.....
