help please on 115hp merc

i need help on how to time my 115 merc ser#7003976. it is giving me problems it seems to go good until i try to pull a skier then i can't get it to plane out.please e mail me steps in how to do it at aaabiron@sympatico.ca or could you tell me where to get the infomation off the net.does anyone know roughly how fast it should push my 17ft fiber glass boat thanks very much ron
