help please

i have a 1995 mercury black max 200hp my trim motor went bad so i installed a new motor on it. there is air in the system so i want to know how to bleed it. right now i hit the up button and all it does is make noise nothing happens the same thing if i do it down. i need help asap i would like to go out this weekend and get some nice kingfish and mackerals
