The last time I took my boat out was about a month and a half ago and everything worked fine and ran well. I went out about 2 weeks ago and when I tried the manual tilt lever and lift the motor the lever moved but the motor would not budge. Any ideas?? When I bought this motor this part was broken:
It screws onto the tip of this piston:
And then snaps onto the back of the long skinny lever you see here to tilt the motor up and down:
The black plastic peice is cracked, so that is part of the problem. But if I remember correctly, I just took a pair of pliers and moved the piston and was able to move the motor up and down and it will not budge this time??? Also I don't have a manual for this motor and do not know where to get one without having to order one. Does anyone know what that smaller fatter lever is for and what/why this piston will not move?? I appreciate all the help you can offer!!
