Help removine stuck piston 60' 3hp Sea King

I moved the piston to the bottom of the stroke with a grease gun and fitting, but now with the port exposed thats all I can do with grease. Its still stuck, and wondering what works with these engines? I cant seem to loosen up the rod bolts, they are slotted screws and dont budge-seems like they will break if I go to hard on-em...

How do I get this piston out?

If the piston is that froze up, I think the motor is junk and not worth the time..

since you have been able to move it that far, at least there is hope. Try pounding it out with a hardwood dowel through the spark plug hole. Unfortunatly there is no cylinder head to remove.

I believe you can remove the cylinder most likely you could drive the piston out as described with a dowel.
The piston may have a recess in the center of the top.You may be able to shape a long punch or rod to fit it and drive the piston with it.Using care not to over do.You may be able to rig a 2 or 3 jaw puller to push the piston out with a rod through the plug hole.

Well... Got the piston out, but the rod broke and the piston is pretty fried...

Any source for used piston/rod? Or, should I start a new thread?
