Hello All:
I'm in the process of replacing a corroded wiring harness on my 14ft fishing boat. While doing this I discovered that the aerator pump is competely shorted out. The way the pump is located, I need to remove the entire pump housing. Before removing it, just wanted to make sure I don't mess anything up. Two quick inquiries(see jpg):
1/ Will loosening the PVC nut shown in the pic allow me to pull the pump out
2/ If required, how does the debris cage (CAP) come off? Is it scewed on?
Thanks
