Hey everyone my vro which has been working fuel side only has finally cracked in the housing and I need to replace it. I'm currently strapped for cash and looking for a $50 repair not a $300. I have a J60elcod 1985 2cly. I found one fuel pump with the 3 barbs from sierra but it is only rated up to a 30hp. I just noticed on the port side of the motor just behind the starter there are 2 threaded holes with a screw plugging the hole between them. Were these the original bosses for the old style fuel pump? I found a sierra fuel pump old style for up to a 55hp 18-7352 can I just bolt this to the side of the case and reroute the fuel lines?
