help w/ reassembling '65 fisherman 5.5hp fuel pump

I actually bought a junk 5.5 fisherman so i could disassemble the fuel pump and figure out how to put it back together for my other 5.5 fisherman's fuel pump...I've attached a photo, all is well except this small round plastic piece fell out of the section with the springs in the photo--anyone know where it goes, and is there anywhere on line i can view this fuel pump disassembled?

The little plastic piece goes on the end of one of those springs to protect the rubber diaphram, from the spring wearing through.
