Just put together my Alpha 1 Gen II and have these left over. They 7/16" socket and 2 inches total with a coarse thread. I changed my tilt trim switches, inspected bellows and bearing and painted the entire unit but didnt service the impeller. Had the tilt rams off too. Cant figure out where the came from. Yes, the bolt covered by the cap near the ram mounts and above the round anode is in there.

Anode plate? The one by the pitot tube hose.

7/16th socket is for a 1/4 inch bolt. That one looks bigger to me....

They look like the screws for holding the upper and lower housings together. Or the one under the anode plate at the rear of the drive.

I think you both nailed it. Problem is I can't see where they go even with the schematic. I'm going to have to separate the bottom end, yes?
Good thing I checked in here before going boating.

Actually, I think I've really screwed up. I just watched a video on leg removal and something isn't aligning. Where you mentioned the spot just in the front of the pitot, I have an open hole. The video I watched shows a stud protruding there with a 5/8 nut holding it on.

**UPDATE**

Okay, I've figured it. I had somehow put an allen bolt in the spot that holds the trim tab anode in place. Should have known as it was magnetic. So thats where one bolt goes. The other is at the front just as you stated. My unit has a seated thread and isn't a stud/nut combo as in the video. So all is wall. Thanks again.
