Help wiring tachometer on 2003 50hp 4 stroke Yamaha

I have a 2003 Yamaha 50hp 4 stroke carbureted outboard I need help wiring tachometer. Where do I get the rpm signal from? coil?

It comes from the CDI. It is the green wire that is in the ten pin main engine harness.

Yamaha analog tachometer with warning lights. If and when the warning horn sounds you will know whether it is over temperature or low oil pressure. Based on which light illuminates.

That's the one. You will also need a wire harness that runs from the motor to the tachometer.
