Help with 185 ProV Livewell

I am having trouble with my livewell not filling properly. I recently replaced the pump for the system and for some odd reason the livewell will not fill all the way and it is also having trouble holding water when on the lake. Ok...let me be more specific.

On the water: recirculation valve turned to the closed position. Aerator turned on to manual fill to pump water in. I am only able to get it to fill less than half of the well. Even if I put water directly into the well from the lake with a bucket it drains out somewhere. I have checked every connection with water in the livewell at home and there are no signs of a leak.

If anyone might be able to shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it.

The system is a one pump system with the recirculation valve between the pump and the inlet / outlet hose that goes to the transom.

I have this system on my '99. It fills until it reaches the overflow hole in the side of the tank. Is your water level not reaching this drain port? Does it hold a full tank in the driveway at home? My overflow port is at about the 3/4 level in the tank.

My knob you turn says "Auto" or "Drain".
