Help with 1994 Tracker Pro17 Mercury 40HP owner's manuals

Hi I recently purchased a 1994 Tracker Pro17 boat with a 40hp Mercury outboard.

Well so far I have spent way way more than I thought needed to get it going so my boat fund is all but gone.

I contacted Mercury and they claimed that they don't have the owner's manual in electronic format that I can download but they can print and mail me a copy for $24......what a rip!

Anyways I want to see if anyone here might have an extra copy of the owner's manual or the service manual that I can buy for a good price. Photo copies will work too!

Well ebay is our friend sometimes. I was able to find the service manual on ebay for a pretty good price so problem solved....partially, now I just need to find a copy of the owner's manual, anyone?

Exactly what info are you looking for in the owners manual?

Just ask the questions here (pics help sometimes) and I'm sure someone will be able to answer them for you.

I guess just general operational and maintenance information as new boat owners will want to know (this is my first boat).
