Help with 75hp Stinger2 - Has intermittant spark issues

Hello, New to these forums and we haven't owned a boat in many years.
Gary & I just bought a 14' fishing boat with a Johnson 75hp Stinger 2, today he cleaned the carbs and all went well with that and they seem to be working properly.
Our Issue: The motor is getting intermittant spark, it comes and goes, sometimes it's the top, sometimes it's the middle plug, etc. Does anyome have an idea why it may be doing this? Would like to get some info before I start buying new parts that may not be needed.

are you sure its intermitent?
go to your local parts house (advance,auto zone, o'rieley's, or napa) and grab one of their adjustable gap spark checkers (6 bux) run it out ot 7/16-1/2" and hook it to each plug wire it should jump this gap with a nice HOT blue spark post back your results top cylinder is the # 1, middle - #2, bottom -#3

do this test with the plugs out the fuel line unhooked and the battery FULLY charged
