Help with 88 Johnson 25hp big pain

Moror runs like crap at low speed an starting high end runs good but itook it out yesturday first got out it was fine but the longer it ran the worst it got. An at one point it was runnig at full speed an just died to a 1/4 to 1/2 speed at full throttle

If you take an move the prime in an out sometimes helps or roll the throttle back an forth it like try's to bog itself out

You have a history of this motor running poorly. Did you rebuild the carb?...

Yeah did a rebuild but still got some issue read someone else on here had d same problem an read that they got it looked at an it was a switch box what's a switch box can't find one for the Johnson not unless he's calling something else it

Not sure what he's referring to. Lets start over, have you checked compression and spark?
