Help with a Lower shift cable

I hope this is the right section if not I apologize........I was wondering if there is someone in North New Jersey very close to Lake Hopatcong that would be willing to help me install a lower shift cable on my 1988 Celebrity Cuddy w/305 mercruiser alpha one I am pretty good with most of the repairs but this is one that im not sure I want to do alone and screw up
