help with a mcculloch outboard motor 75 hp long shaft 1965

does anybody know how to remove the lower unit? i have unbolted it and it looks like the shifting linkage is keeping me from removing it.

there is a linkage just when u pull the bottom down it should have 2 flat screws take out the top one completly then just slide the whole unit down u can service the pumps easily
