Hi all, I have a Sears 14 that arrived in my possession along with a TN-26. The motor is in good shape and things move, but I am short the fly-wheel. I know these aren't everyone's cup of tea, but is there a group out there that might want this thing for parts. The prop is broken and the spark-plug wires are bad...but everything else is there, motor turns etc.Coils look good.

I am new here, but hope to hang around and learn a thing or two...

OK that's awfully close to being an add.Pretty sure that is built by McCulloch you might ask over at www.aomci.org .You might ask the scott guy at "ask the scott guy".You could put it on Ebay or Craigs List.

Sorry, didn't mean to advertise. I just don't want to see it go to waste if someone needs the parts. I looked at what it might take to get parts and it made me want to cry.

Re: Help with a Sears 14

I have a parts book and a repair manual if you need some answers. This is a very good little engine, I use it on my 1964 Sears Jon boat. The trailer, motor and boat were all purchased at the same time in 1964. The parts are out there for them still, you just have to do your homework and sometime improvise. For example, the fuel pump went tout on mine and I could not find a kit anywhere. I went to my local lawnmower shop and found a fuel pump that fits a Gravely tractor mower. All I had to do was make a bushing behind the bracket with little longer screws and it works great. Hope this helps, if you want to get rid of the unit, please let me know. Shame the prop is bad. That is the one part I cannot seem to find.
