Help with a thermostat

I've got a 5.7L,350, 260HP Chevy/Volvo Penta. The original engine died and was replaced with a Merc. short block, all the bolt on stuff from the VP was put on the Merc. To my way of thinking, its still a Chevy. The new engine is a 1988-1995 the thermostat housing is the original 1983 Volvo. I can't find the correct thermostat. Any help would be appreciated.

You've got essentially the same engine as mine.

You could also try napa. Tell them you have a VP AQ260A. They should be able to look it up.
