Hey Guys, got an 82 merc 25, my exhaust tube is mostly gone and disconnected from the adapter plate, lower units off, powerhead is off. I have the clamps and swivel bracket as well as the driveshaft housing still attached to the boat. I can't find instructions for how to remove the adapter plate- looks to me like the swivel bracket needs to be dissassembled before i can remove it- can anyone confirm this or tell me what to do? I have a seloc manual and an online merc manual, neither show this stuff. Thanks for the help guys.
