Crossflow carburetors are easy enough, once you get them off the engine.
You need two carburetor kits.
If you have plastic float bowls you should not soak them or the other plastic and nylon parts.

Tashasdaddy has a little carburetor thread here that may help.
Don't use rags of any kind when cleaning a carburetor, use pressurized air; a single thread can block the capillaries and waste the rebuild.
This would be a great opportunity to replace the fuel hoses leading to the carburetor with the newly improved alcohol resistant hoses.
