I'm new to boating and just purchaced a 86 HPV-175 from a friend of mine.It is basically a "Diamond in the ruff", but for $75.00 who can complain. I just got through pulling the carpet and flooing up to see that it was all rotten out,the area is at the pilot seat all the way across the other side. Iwould like to know what kind of wood to use and the other materials I would need to repair this area.I would also like to find out how and where I could get the wiring manual for this boat,since I have to re-wire it,and what kind of outboard motor would be best for this boat,and controls for the motor.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
