Hello, I am trying to replace my entire Gen III fuel module. I ran into an issue with trying to separate the out fuel line from the top cover. I separated the top cover from the module body and took out the cross bolt by the hard line but it just spins, I cannot pull it out no matter how hard I try. There shouldnt be anything else holding the line in. Any suggestions?

There's an o-ring in there at the end of the fuel line so you may want to try adding a little bit of oil (or lube of some kind) in there to help remove the fuel line as the book mentions the following guide line, Step # 11. Carefully pull the fuel outlet line straight out from the module, and plug the line....Page 5C-7

Fuel outlet line retainer screw (80 lb‑inch) installed.

If you end up having to disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail fitting see page 5C-18...,
a. Using a 3/8‑inch fuel line disconnect tool, disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail.

If need be it seems this guy took his line off at the other end,
