I have a Ford 312 interceptor engine that I have pulled out of a 1958 Chris Craft Capri. I am sure as most here know that this engine was not an option on the 58 Chris or many other chris's. I am looking to restore this boat back to factory orginal which means a 283 will be reinstalled. I am trying to decide which wat to go with this engine, sell it as is or part it out. I have seen several interceptors on this site but see very few 312s. Is there aa market for the 312 in the marine and century market place or should I look towards the Thunderbird (car) restoreing clubs since it was a orginal engine in the 1955 Thunderbird. I will try to up load a picture of the engine. Also the engine had "Side draft carbs and am looking for help to ID the model. I could not upload a picture si I will include a link to the photobucket page.

Let me know your opinions.

Thanks Nam
