Help with Johnson 9.9 4S Pee Hose

I got some sand into my water pump pee hose. As I was cleaning it, the pee hose got pushed out of the hole (in the read of the engine). I was able to clean out the hose and it is peeing like a race horse now. Unfortunately, I don't have the monkey hands required to put the pee hose back into the engine hole.



Do I need a special tool or is there a trick here for me to put the hose back into place?

Does it fit over a nipple or does it go into a hole? I have in the past put liquid soap on the end and in the hose hole and used needle nose pliers gripping about 1/2 inch from the end and slipped the hose back on. May be worth a try. Good luck

You might try getting an extra long pair of needle nose pliers. I've got a couple pair of them and use them all the time.
