OK, after a couple summers of doing nothing different I came to find my off-white leather upholstery all covered with spots that appear like mold. I had my boat covered for about 10 days as we had rain and storms every day and when I uncovered her this is what I found. I have tried to clean it off with leather cleaner, armor-all, and soapy water with a little bit of bleach in it, nothing really worked. Is there ANYTHING i can use to get the seats back to looking good? This isn't the first time we had rain like this and I never had this issue before so I am lost. Anyone??? We normlly take the boat out every week or two and clean it after and between. So, i don't know what caused this either.

There was a post awhile back addressing the same issue. Seemed that something like Oxiclean was the way to go. Maybe the original poster will chime in and help my one memory cell. :D
Wait - did you say you had leather upholstery? Geez, what kind of boat is that? You did mean vinyl - right?

Re: Help with leather cleaning requested

this one has been covered a bunch.

i use mr clean magic erasers and then whatever is left will get bleached by the sun.

be careful with abrasive cleansers. they can strip vinyl of protective chemicals and make stitches brittle. armor all is bad too.
