I have a magnum boat the is tri hull with a u shape area in the front. I am making a wooden frame on the front by the side It is going to be about 0 to 3 inches high to get it level then mount the trolling motor frame to it. The question is I used 3 pieces of marine 3/2 in together. And used gorilla glue to put them together. Now the question is on the wooden frame what should i do to make this water proof. Should I put poly urethane over it to make it to make it water proof. I hope this is making since

How about fiberglass resin? Anything is better than nothing but polyurethane varnis is probably the easiest and cheap.
