Help with outboard motor stand

hi guys,
im installing my87 merc 150 on my motor stand but it is tilted up and i have no way of lowering it because all connections are loose and ready to install on stand. can i still install enginelike this? any ideas.thanks

you mean the tilt trim wont let the motor sit straight up and down?? if so you should hook up a battery and the controls and lower the motor.

sorry, i guess you can set the motor like that, on your stand, but would be best to releive the pressure and lower the unit.
