Ok guys i changed the water pump in my merc 500 its a 1977 ser #4578459,When i ordered the water pump for it well i got the wrong one so i had to wait for another week to gets the right one well i continued on with doing things on the boat and somehow moved the levers and while cleaning the lower end i took cam off well now i can seam to gets things all lined back up right so its in neutral i have the clymer pro series outboard manual but its not real clear on this any help will be much apreasiated MANY THANKS
