Hi, I'm want to convert from raw cooling to FWC. Confused about which San Juan kit, V112 says - 1994-2007, GL Cools Block Only. Adds 3? the Front of the Engine. Specify if 2004 & UP. Fits V-Belts Only. Carb/EFI Applications. V111 says - 1997-2007, ?Off Engine Mount? Due to Fuel Pump & Alternator Locations. Adds 1 ?? to bottom of engine. Cools Bock Only. Confusing, anyone have this engine with a SJ cooling kit or knowledge of SJ cooling kits? Thanks!

Ayuh,.... If yer motor's been run in the brine since '98, it's Way to late for a heat exchanger,...

No, it has been in fresh water its entire life, never ever been in the ocean. I took the risers off to inspect them and they looked new inside.

If its a V Belt motor then you need the V112, you can call Brad direct at San Juan. I live in BC and sent him pics of my 2000 Doral 250SE which has 98 5.7GS Penta motor in it that was run in fresh water for about 5 mths a season then winter stored until I bought the boat last Nov. I had the V112 1/2 system FWC installed and I sent him pics to confirm as I had selected the wrong kit, Brad is the owner and San Juan is in WA not far from me, I found them very helpful and accomodating to do business with. Good luck

Thank you, I sent Brad my pictures and he helped me out, great service. Ended up with the V112 but had to modify.
